Our Preparatory Dance classes are designed for focused and motivated students who are ready for a more structured dance experience and eager to further develop their technique, artistry, and performance skills.
Preparatory 1 Jazz/Tap is a one-hour class designed for young dancers transitioning from combo classes into a more focused training environment. Students are introduced to foundational tap and jazz technique while developing coordination, rhythm, musicality, flexibility, and performance quality. Dancers will build confidence, classroom discipline, and strong technical fundamentals through both styles in a supportive and structured setting. This class encourages students to grow artistically and personally while expanding their versatility as performers.
Placement in this class is by the director’s approval.
