About

Our Acro Dance classes combine the athletic elements of acrobatics with the artistry and technique of dance. Designed for dancers who want to build strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination, this class focuses on developing acrobatic skills while maintaining proper dance technique and performance quality.

Students will work on age- and level-appropriate skills such as flexibility training, limbers, bridges, rolls, cartwheels, walkovers, handstands, aerial preparation, and other acrobatic progressions. Emphasis is placed on safe skill development, proper technique, body control, and strength building to ensure students progress confidently and successfully.

In addition to acrobatic training, dancers will learn how to seamlessly integrate acro skills into choreography, enhancing their versatility, artistry, and overall performance ability. Classes encourage perseverance, discipline, confidence, and goal setting in a supportive and positive learning environment.

Placement is based on skill level and instructor recommendation to ensure dancers are training safely and progressing appropriately. Acro Dance is an excellent complement to any dancer’s training and helps students develop the strength, flexibility, and confidence needed to excel across a variety of dance styles.

Students must be in at least Kindergarten in order to participate in this class
