About
Classes focus on and build on the many techniques of jazz and tap dance. Jazz classes are usually a favorite for dance students because of the fast pace and upbeat music. Tap classes focus on and build on the rhythm, musicality, and the different styles of Tap dance. Tap dance is often characterized by syncopation and improvisation.
These classes are provided for the student who wants to spend more time on each technique but is not quite ready for leveled classes.
Students are leveled according to the number of years of dance they have taken and their demonstrated proficiency.
*Director’s approval is required for all leveled technique classes.
