Preparatory Program

Our Preparatory Dance Program is designed for focused and motivated students ages 6–9 who are ready for a more structured dance experience. This program is ideal for young dancers who demonstrate strong interest, dedication, and enthusiasm for developing their technique and performance skills.

Classes emphasize proper dance fundamentals, discipline, musicality, flexibility, and strength in a positive and encouraging environment. Students are challenged to grow both technically and artistically while building confidence, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.

The Preparatory Program serves as an important stepping stone into our leveled and advanced training programs. Dancers receive high-quality instruction from experienced faculty who are committed to helping each student reach their full potential while fostering a lifelong love of dance.

Placement in the Preparatory Program is by director approval to ensure students are ready for the focus, commitment, and expectations of the program.

Elite Feet Dance Companies

Our dance company offers a program that is an additional opportunity for our students to perform and compete at local and national dance competitions.

We currently house two companies in the studio the Elite Feet Dance Company which specializes in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, modern and acrobatics and the Elite Feet Hip Hop Company which specializes exclusively on the technique of hip hop. Being part of either or both companies is a great way for our students to get additional training, be able to perform more often and to get critiques from professionals other than ourselves.

Participation in either dance company is by audition only.

In order to be part of the company a student must take technique classes at Elite Feet Dance Studio. The company students work on their dances during specially scheduled company rehearsal times. Regular class time during the week is not occupied by rehearsals. We feel that a student only grows as a performer if they continue to work technique during class therefore we do not take time out of technique classes during the week to rehearse company dances.

Our dancers in our company are also encouraged to explore other areas of their interest, i.e. band, theater, girl scouts, church youth group. We understand that in order to have a healthy adult you must first have a well balanced and healthy child and therefore our company students are allowed to pursue other interests as well as being part of our program. With that said it is important to know that we expect a level of commitment to the company in order that everyone can achieve their goals come competition season.

Every year we attend three local competitions during the school year and every other year we attend one national competition during the summer. We are not what would be considered a competition studio in the fact that we do not spend most weekends away at competition. We view competitions as a nice addition to our students dance education but not the most important component.

Through participation in the company, students also gain self confidence that can translate to many aspects of their lives. By performing in front of hundreds of people at competitions they will be more comfortable standing in front of a class or office meeting making a presentation. They will learn the value of working as a team and that when everyone puts forth the same effort great things can happen. They will gain friendships that will last well into the future because they have this unique shared experience and many hours together through the years.

Teen Program

Our Teen Program is designed for students who are new to dance or returning after taking time away from classes. These technique-based classes provide a supportive environment where students can build confidence, improve skills, and progress at their own pace.

This program is ideal for recreational dancers who participate in dance alongside school, sports, and other activities. Classes are designed to be engaging and challenging while offering a less intensive option than our leveled training programs.

Many dancers who begin in our recreational pre-teen and teen programs continue to progress into our leveled classes as their skills and dedication grow. We view this program as a strong foundation for students who may later choose to pursue more advanced training.

Leveled Technique

Our Leveled Technique Program offers focused training in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary/modern, hip hop, and acrobatics for dedicated dancers ready to advance their skills. Classes typically begin for students ages 8–10, although placement is based on experience, technical ability, and instructor evaluation rather than age alone. Director approval is required for enrollment, and class placement is determined through ongoing evaluations by our directors and teaching staff.

Designed to inspire and challenge serious dancers, our leveled classes provide a supportive environment where students can continue to grow technically and artistically. While many participants are members of the Elite Feet Dance Company, enrollment is open to any dancer who demonstrates the required skill level. Many students successfully transition into the program from our recreational pre-teen and teen classes as they build confidence and technique.

Beyond technical training, the Leveled Technique Program encourages discipline, responsibility, dedication, and a lifelong appreciation for dance as an art form. These valuable experiences help students develop skills that extend far beyond the studio and provide excellent preparation for dancers pursuing collegiate or professional opportunities.

Our experienced faculty is made up of instructors with professional dance experience and/or degrees in dance. Each teacher is committed to helping students reach their highest potential in a positive, healthy, and encouraging environment. At Elite Feet Dance Studio, we emphasize not only technical excellence, but also body awareness, balance, confidence, and healthy life habits that support long-term success both inside and outside the studio.

Pre-Teen

Our Pre-Teen Program is designed for students who are new to dance or have limited experience. These classes provide a welcoming environment where dancers can build confidence, develop technique, and learn at a comfortable pace.

Perfect for recreational dancers, this program is ideal for students balancing dance with school, sports, and other activities. While the classes are less intensive than our leveled programs, students are still encouraged and challenged as they grow their skills and passion for dance.

Many dancers who begin in our recreational pre-teen and teen programs continue to progress into our more advanced leveled classes. We view this program as a strong foundation for students who may later choose to pursue more rigorous training.

All classes are taught by the same highly qualified instructors who train our advanced dancers. Our faculty at Elite Feet Dance Studio hold degrees in dance or have extensive professional performance and teaching experience, ensuring every student receives exceptional instruction and support.

Early Childhood

Our Early Childhood Program is thoughtfully designed for children ages 2.5 through 6, offering a strong foundation in dance and movement. Children explore spatial awareness both individually and as part of a group, develop the eight basic locomotor skills, and learn musical rhythm, beat, and timing, as well as concepts such as opposites and directions. Alongside these physical skills, the program fosters self-awareness, creative expression, imagination, teamwork, and basic awareness of the body and health.

In addition to dance fundamentals, our classes teach essential classroom behavior and manners that support students throughout their dance education. Children learn to take turns, follow and lead others, wait patiently, collaborate with peers, and maintain a positive attitude.

Research shows that introducing young children to movement sequencing, patterning, and spatial relationships helps build a strong foundation for later academic skills in reading, mathematics, and more. Our Early Childhood Program actively engages students in these areas. We maintain small class sizes and provide an assistant when needed, ensuring each child receives individualized attention and remains engaged throughout the class.
