Pointe technique is the part of classical ballet technique where a ballet dancer supports her body weight on the tips of fully extended feet within pointe shoes. A student needs to be at least 12 years of age, enrolled in Level 4 Ballet or above, and approved by the Studio Director to begin Pointe technique class. Students are leveled according to the number of years of dance they have taken and their demonstrated proficiency.
*Students need the Director’s Approval to take Leveled classes. Placement in each Level is based on Director and Teacher evaluations of the student.
