About
Lyrical classes focus on balance, strength, and flexibility. Classes include a warm-up with combinations in the center and across the floor. Students concentrate on the words and emotions of the music to improve their overall performance. Levels 3 through 7 include modern and contemporary techniques, and levels 6 and 7 have the option to take a contemporary only class. Students that take Lyrical/Contemporary/Modern classes are required to enroll in a Ballet technique class.
*Students need the Director’s Approval to take leveled classes. Placement in each level is based on Director and Teacher evaluations of the student.
