She has done summer intensives with Pacific Northwest Ballet, Richmond Ballet, Miami City Ballet, and and The Joffrey Ballet. She received her first Corps de Ballet job at 16 with Pacific Northwest Ballet. At 17 she made the decision to move closer to home and received a position as a corps member with Richmond Ballet. After Graduating High School Mrs. Lisa went to the University of North Carolina in Greensboro and received her BFA in Dance as well as performing with the Greensboro Ballet in their Nutcracker and in Cinderella and Carmen.

After completing college Mrs. Lisa had an accident while performing in her other passion horseback riding and suffered an injury that abruptly ended her career as a professional dancer and she began working as a choreographer for local Washington DC theater groups like Hexagon and the British Players and fell in love with musical theater.
